Recruitment and Selection
Careers and jobs in care. Your Care and Support are committed to recruiting the highest caliber staff and to ensure they are motivated, competent individuals. Our recruitment & selection process consists of the following:
Initial Contact by telephone which includes a series of specially selection questions to see if potential staff meet the criteria we require.
These are conducted by the Branch based team, these include specially selected face to face questions, scenario’s scenes to check written competency and understanding, a statement regarding their Disclosure regarding any previous convictions including a statement and risk assessment if required. (This is then sent to a panel for assessment decision being made) these are then scored to see if potential staff can join our team.
DBS & Reference Checks:
prior to staff starting a placement we have to have received and verified a minimum of 2 references from previous employers (one being the most recent) & a clear enhanced Disclosure & Barring Statement to show they have no convictions on record which may result in not being able to work within the care sector.
Once the above is met we can offer potential staff a place on our training programme.
